The Longines Skin Diver is a classic design reborn as a modern watch.
In 1957 Longines launched the Nautilus Skin Diver, which is the inspiration for this new watch. The Nautilus had a 40mm diameter, the modern version has grown up to 42mm in diameter and has upped its water-resistance to 300 metres with the screw down crown.
This watch is in excellent condition, the unidirectional bezel is easy to turn and has a hardwearing black PVD coating that will help the watch survive everyday life. The dial expertly captures the vintage look with aged looking lume markers and and hands and a new sapphire crystal protects it and reduce the glare and reflection
The movement is the automatic Calibre L888.2 (ETA A31.L01)and has and impressive 65 hours of power reserve
With its domed sapphire crystal, solid bezel handsome dial and mesh steel bracelet, the Skin Diver Watch is a great-looking contemporary dive watch with more than ample water resistance.
The watch comes complete with box and papers and is in excellent condition.
